Pavel Gerätebau GmbH has stood for durable machine solutions "Made in Germany" for over 60 years. We develop and manufacture specialized compactors for the compaction of plastic films for international customers in the plastics and packaging industry. As an innovative medium-sized company, we are looking to strengthen our team with an industrial mechanic (m/f/d) who enjoys a variety of tasks - from assembly to customer commissioning.
Responsibilities / main tasks
- Assembly and installation of our machines in the factory
- Quality control and functional tests before delivery
- Picking and packing spare parts for our customers
- Occasional material tests and technical demonstrations for customers
- Occasional commissioning, maintenance and repair of machines at our customers in Germany and abroad
- Occasional training of operating personnel and technical support on site
- Customer orientation and professional appearance
Qualifications / Requirements
- Completed training as an industrial mechanic, mechatronics technician or comparable qualification
- Experience in mechanical engineering or in the assembly of technical systems
- High level of technical understanding, careful working methods and ability to work in a team
- Basic willingness to travel for customer assignments (no permanent travel)
- Written and spoken English for communication with international customers
- Customer orientation and professional appearance
